Melanoma Awareness Community Morning Tea – December 18th

You are invited to attend a community morning tea to raise awareness about melanoma prevention, detection, treatment and research.

With the highest incident per capita of melanoma in the world, melanoma has been named Australia’s “national cancer”. It is the third most-commonly diagnosed cancer in Australian. Around 4 Australian adults lose their lives to melanoma every day.

Melanoma is also the most preventable form of cancer, and if caught early has a much greater survival rate. It’s time to change our national story and become more informed about how we can look out for ourselves and each other.

Your presence at this event will be important in raising vital awareness about melanoma in our community.
